Birthday

Sweet'ums turned 2 on Saturday and her party was fun. A lot of people couldn't be there for various reasons, and several of the people who WERE there didn't want to be (again, for various reasons) but all in all it was a success. The party was fun and hanging out with family and friends afterwards was even better. I think Sweet'ums had more fun once all the extra people left and she was with just the people she knows best.

So all in all we had fun. My brother's girlfriend gave him all kinds of trouble for being there, but that's a rant I'll save for another day. It just stunk to have him in a foul mood the whole day. My MIL and her mom got mad at my mom for disagreeing about whether Sweet'ums might have a latex allergy (she had a couple spots on her arm where a Band-aid had been and of course the in-laws swear she has a latex allergy... Umm, hello ladies, she had the bandage on for about two straight days and it could have just irritated her skin when we pulled it off) so my MIL looks mad in all the pictures she's in. But in ten years when Sweet'ums sees her pictures, hopefully she'll laugh and say that it doesn't matter.
